Hertfordshire’s BSF scheme

In a time of uncertainty for projects in the public sector, we are truly delighted to learn that we have been part of the winning team on another schools project, this time for Balfour Beatty on Hertfordshire’s BSF scheme.

It was touch and go for a while but the bid team have proven the point that the two sample schools are key to the future of many Hertfordshire families and will be going ahead as planned.

Work is due to start at Marriotts school in February 2011. The community secondary school will be expanded on its current site, and co-located with Lonsdale, a special school.

The Nobel scheme involves the partial remodelling of existing buildings as well as substantial new building work.
