AVRs for 101 George Street, Croydon help achieve planning

The derelict site at 101 George Street - formerly home to office block ‘Essex House’ - has been familiar to us for a number of years. Back in 2011 we were commissioned by Terrace Hill to visualise plans for their 258,000 sq ft, 17-storey office scheme - ‘Chroma’.

In April of 2014 developer Fairfield Ltd took up an option on the site and in June Rolfe Judd submitted plans on their behalf for the transformation of  the site into a 305-flat skyscraper.

The application included our verified document containing 19 accurate visual representations (AVRs) with viewpoints from throughout Croydon and the wider area. We also produced the marketing CGI as shown above.

A spokesman for Fairfield Ltd said: "We are absolutely delighted that Croydon planning committee has unanimously voted to approve this application, which will bring a vacant site back into use.
