The Mail Rail experience in for planning

Feilden Clegg Bradley have submitted plans for a museum, exhibition and events space that includes the Mail Rail Experience - a journey through the little-known rail tunnel network that carried London's mail throughout the city until 2003.

We produced a series of CGIs as well as a captivating animation to support the project, which you can see here.

The British Postal Museum & Archive have been planning to link redevelopment of both the Calthorpe House site and the tunnel system below the Mount Pleasant sorting office to create a totally unique new attraction for London.

The Heritage Lottery Fund provided initial funding in October 2012 to develop detailed designs, which the Postal Heritage team hope to make a reality with full funding approval sought during 2013.
