The Oak Cancer Centre, Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust | BDP

We’ve worked with BDP and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust throughout the design development of the new Oak Cancer Centre, and the Trust is now calling up contractors to bid for a planned research facility at its Sutton site in south west London.

Preconstruct have a huge amount of experience working on healthcare projects, from planning imagery through to huge multi-stage bid packages of animations, Apps, VR tours, branding, stills and presentations.

BDP have been a long-term partner in this arena, where we have worked with them on projects like National Children’s Hospital in Dublin

The Oak Cancer Centre will place over 300 pioneering researchers alongside patients with the most challenging and rare cancers, ensuring patients are at the heart of research.

The six-floor building project will be let as a two-stage tender with up to five bidders set to be shortlisted initially.

The project involves demolition of the Orchard House building before an expected construction start in February 2020 which will run through to November 2022.
